Eligibility requirements
- Pakistani national admitted to a participating public university
- Family income below the published threshold
- Enrolled in the first year of an undergraduate programme
- Not receiving another scholarship simultaneously

- Admission proof from the university
- Family income certificate
- CNIC or B-Form and father's CNIC
- Utility bills and rent agreement where applicable
How to apply, step by step

Confirm your university participates
Only listed public-sector universities are covered.

Secure admission first
You apply after being admitted, not before.

Register on the Ehsaas portal
Applications are submitted online and verified by the university.

Prepare income evidence
This is the core of the assessment. Incomplete evidence is the main rejection reason.

Submit to the university focal person
Most universities require hard copies in addition to the online form.

Counting backwards from the deadline. Applications rushed in the final fortnight are the ones that fail.
12 weeks before
Confirm your university is on the participating list.
10 weeks before
Begin obtaining the income certificate.
8 weeks before
Gather CNIC, utility bills and supporting documents.
5 weeks before
Complete the online portal application.
2 weeks before
Deliver hard copies to the university focal person.
